Learning to Be
Learning to Be develops self-knowledge and interpersonal skills. Learners understand who they are, who they would like to be, and what they need to do to become their personal best. Learners embark on a Hero’s Journey. Relational covenants, goal setting and authentic engagement forge character and deep sense of purpose.
Learning to Do
Learning to Do augments students’ productivity and fosters practical skills and applied passion. Joy + Rigor = Mastery. Learners develop an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to fuse theory and practice. Project-based learning and interdisciplinary quests prepare children for apprenticeships and real-world challenges.
Learning to Know
Learning to Know integrates foundational knowledge with higher order thinking and informed doing. The process develops curious students who have learned how to learn. Adaptive technology is used to achieve proficiency in core skills. Socratic discussions, learning plans, writing workshops, free-reading and the like prepare students to independently acquire knowledge as needed.
